In meinen bisherigen Posts Simulation/Evolution/Creation, Gott ist (nicht) allmächtig und Gott ist Liebe habe ich über Gott allgemein geschrieben. Nun, Gott kommt allein ja auch ganz gut zurecht. Wozu braucht er mich?
Gott hat die Welt geschaffen. Aber er ist dann nicht abgehauen und hat die Welt sich selbst überlassen. Er erschafft die Welt immer noch jeden Tag. Das gilt nicht nur allgemein, sondern Gott achtet auf jedes kleine Tier und jeden einzelnen Menschen.
In der Bibel schrieb der Sänger David:
Du bist es, der meinen Körper und meine Seele erschaffen hat,
kunstvoll hast du mich gebildet im Leib meiner Mutter.
Ich danke dir dafür, dass ich so wunderbar erschaffen bin,
es erfüllt mich mit Ehrfurcht.
Ja, das habe ich erkannt: Deine Werke sind wunderbar!
Dir war ich nicht verborgen, als ich Gestalt annahm,
als ich im Dunkeln erschaffen wurde, kunstvoll gebildet im tiefen Schoß der Erde.
Deine Augen sahen mich schon, als mein Leben im Leib meiner Mutter entstand.
Alle Tage, die noch kommen sollten,
waren in deinem Buch bereits aufgeschrieben,
bevor noch einer von ihnen eintraf.

Du bist kein Zufallsprodukt biologischer Prozesse.
Gott hat sich richtig Mühe gegeben, Dich so zu gestalten, wie Du bist.
Du bist nicht egal. Gott wollte, dass Du existierst!
Du bist wichtig!
Du hast Würde!
Warum macht Gott sowas?
Gott selbst ist Liebe. Er will seine Liebe mit Dir teilen:
Gott lädt dich ein.
Er selbst deckt dir den Tisch vor den Augen deiner Feinde.
Gott füllt deinen Becher bis zum Überfließen.
Nur Güte und Gnade werden dich umgeben alle Tage deines Lebens,
und bei Gott zu Hause wirst du wohnen.
Du bist geliebt!

God created the world. But then he didn’t run away and leave the world to its own devices. He is still creating the world every day. Not just in general, but God cares about every little animal and every single person.
In the Bible, the singer David wrote:
For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well.
My frame wasn’t hidden from you,
when I was made in secret,
woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my body.
In your book they were all written,
the days that were ordained for me,
when as yet there were none of them.
You are not an accidental product of biological processes.
God has gone to great lengths to make you what you are.
You are not indifferent. God wanted you to exist!
You are important!
You have dignity!
Why does God do this?
God himself is love. He wants to share his love with you:
God invites you.
He prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies.
Your cup runs over.
Goodness and loving kindness shall follow you all the days of your life,
and you will dwell in God’s house forever.
You are loved!
